As some of you know, my MM has been stored for three years with only about 1 week on the road total during that whole time. (car shows)
This was due to medical issues beyond my control. (brain tumor)
I'm getting ready to put it on the road and have it remote tuned by MartyO, but I was wondering what I should do before firing it up.
Gas stabilizer was added to the tank, and tank was about 1/4 so as to leave room for fresh new fuel upon putting it back on the road.
Oil has about 1000 miles on it, Mobil One 5w30 synthetic.
Antifreeze has 3 years on it, but about 1000 miles on it as well (custom Teksid block engine put in 3 years ago)
Brake fluid is probably 5 years old, and power steering fluid is original. Rear dif oil is being replaced due to a weeping seal. Trans filter was changed 2 years ago.
My plan was to change the oil filter, and pull the plugs to drop a little oil in each cylinder overnight. Then a full brake bleed and road test for a shakedown, followed by an oil change after a few hours of easy driving.
Am I missing anything?
P.S.--Glad to be back.
