The next time anyone asks if the Marauder is quick ... I can say with a completely straight face that I've passed a Lamborghini Countach. True story!!

Yesterday, on the way to the Philly Cruise Night, I was headed north on I-95N about 3 miles south of the Springfield Mixing Bowl (a nightmare of an interchange; but that's another story).

A white Lamborghini Countach was cruising along in the left lane, I slid to the center lane and blew past him before he knew what happened. Of course, he was out sight seeing at about 50 mph -- probably in first gear. But heck, I went past and he never caught up.

Does this count??

P.S. I had loads of fun at the Cruise Night and was able to meet, greet and enjoy the day with a bunch of great people. The highlight was Marauder's Row outside Bennigans prior to heading over to the car lot. 12 Blacks and 2 Blues lined up was truly an impressive sight. :bows:

according to the specs I've read about about that car, it will accomplish the quartermile race in 13.2 seconds. The Supercharged Marauder owners on this board know that their cars are faster than that.........(just a little food for thought ;) )...

You are having way too much fun with that car now. Enjoy it. Trilogy cars are cool.

Here's the metric specs (conversions to english units are mine) that I found on the Lamborghini Countach .....

Top speed : 293 Km/h (182 Mph)

0 - 100 Km/h (0-62 mph) : 4.9 sec

0 - 292 Km/h (0-182 mph) : 62 sec

Standing Km. : 23.5 sec (.62 miles)

I think it would only be fair to do what SHOULD be done with Barry Bonds numbers.

A "kill"...with an * :D

TAF,

Thanks. I'll only use the * (asterisk) if the vote for my Hall of Fame induction is close and I need a tie-breaker.

Well if Barry's numbers get changed then Mark's and Sammy should be also and many more big hitters during the 80's and 90's.
