If you don't have the handheld tuner the performance tune was uploaded with, you can not get the original tune back. Your only option would be to get a new handheld tuner and upload a performance tune with all the monitors turned on.

Any FORD dealer can "re-flash" your car with the latest OEM program but you will lose the performance tune forever!!

You can then get a tuner and go at it again......:burnout:

Good Luck!!

If you have the tuner just flash it back to the original tune. If you don't have a tuner contact MartyO and get one.

He has no tuner and a new one from Marty won't have an OEM tune.....will it??

DR zapped my OEM tune back in 2005 and replaced with a lame SCT tune and OEM type trans shifts!!:mad2: :argue: Needless to say we had FUN with my Diablo blower tune!!:(

Can't FORD just re-flash it Jim??

You're getting hosed.

What is causing you to fail emissions?

Depending on the dealer a reflash is typically $0-$130 and no it's not gonna fry the PCM..

No bueno.

Then his PATS will keep the car from starting and he will need someone to turn the PATS off (via a tune).

Hopefully it's not a communications issue between pcm and the inspection station equipment. Been that route.

"Not Supported" means they are turned off in the tune, although not all of those items are supported in a Marauder in the first place. You need to have a new tune with the required monitors turned on.

Contact one of the supporting vendors here.

Impala SS from the 94-95-96 era has tons more torque than stock marauder, marauder is not known for off theline performance in stock form. Some 4.10 gears will help in that case, which will require a tune. There is only so much a tune will do without other supporting mods

I'm not so sure all that is a result of monitors turned off. Engine misfire, A/C refrigerant? Al the O2 readings? WTF?
Someone with more smarts than me needs to chime in on possibility of communication problem to the emissions tester, or possible problem with the car.
Since you don't have a tuner to change anything, you might want to examine your car for existence of O2 sensors, EGR set up, write a list of mods done - then get a tuner with some good tunes from MartyO.
Contact him directly offline.

As I stated, not all of the monitors he listed are supported by the Marauder's OBD-II strategy.

My paperwork from the inspection station does list everything he posted, but the state's computer is smart enough to recognize which monitors are not applicable and doesn't ding you. It is also smart enough to realise that having everything "Not Supported" is not acceptable, either.

If his O2 sensors were missing (for instance), that monitor would show "Not Ready" instead of "Not Supported".

Why is this difficult?
Buy a tuner with a stock tune in one slot and a performance tune in another.
Load stock, take test, pass.
Re-load tune that was in there or performance tune from vendor.

Not rocket science.

And you texted me at 12:08 AM.
