*11:30 AM -arrive at Field Museum
*1:35 PM -All registered for the 3D Showing of Sue
*3 PM -Board buses to travel to Millenium Park
*3:30 to 4:30 PM –Visit Millenium Park
*4:30 Pm-Board buses to travel to Willis (Sears) Tower
*5:00 PM-Arrive at Willis (Sears) Tower
*5:30 PM –Willis (Sears) Tower Skydeck adventure
*7:00 PM –Dinner –Giordano’s Pizza Buffet
*10:00 PM – Board bus and head back to Hotel.

The Hampton Inn provides a continental breakfast with a few hot items each day. Because of this, a Sunday morning breakfast outside the hotel was not included in the agenda or registration. People can certainly do what they want for breakfast any day. Good to know there's a GC handy.

:dunno: duh, what happened to the wine tasting and a dinner at White Fence Farm that are optional you pay events for after Volo trip???? 37 people signed up for wine tasting and 51 signed up for the dinner. That's why I asked. They are simply a stop in to your tollway dept and I think a $10 deposit and $40 for future tolls. At least in IL. In fact, you used to be able to just get them at certain grocery stores and Ace Hardware even, not sure about any more?

Activation is required for transponders obtained at a Jewel-Osco or Road Ranger location. Activation instructions are included in the transponder box. Once activated, transponders are ready for use within 24 hours in Illinois and within 48 hours in other states that accept I-PASS.

I will be out and in almost before it might activate. No toll road in my neighborhood.

You can at main tolls but they rape you for paying cash.

A lot of the exits aren't manned = exact change only.

You can. But many times there can be a long line of cars and trucks in the manual lanes on the tollway. The on and off ramps there usually is no waiting, BUT not all on and off ramps have manual toll collection as they are electronic collection. Those you will have to pay online.

Paying cash/coins will cost more.

I suggest picking up an iPass or Ezpass. If you already have an electronic toll collection device. Check with your toll authority to find out if yours is compatible with iPass and EZPass.

$40 in tolls?!? That will last me 5 years... :eek:No it won't! The EZ-Pass has a $0.75 service charge per month. You save more than that if you use it, but if you don't that $40 disappears a little at a time. They also recharge from your credit card or checking account automatically when they get low!

So BEWARE!

May be cheaper to just pay the tolls for those of you that don't use EZ-Pass or I-Pass

i think the Ipass from IN or IL does not have the .75 per month service fee. I use mine daily to/from work so convenience is the key for me..i have OH ezpass and yes they pop it when it gets down to $10

Shouldn't be a problem. You'll need your lanyard and name tag to get into Autobahn.
