Not sure if I am in the right section of the forum for this but I was looking at the Detroit truetrac 28 spline LSD (adtr.net) for my 2003 MM. The car is stock w/ a K&N CAI at the moment but will soon have 4:10s, control arms, Addcos, and UDPs and a tune. I'm wondering if also putting in this 28spline LSD will be a good idea? Not sure if it's better to go with the 31 spline? If you guys recommend, are there any other mods that need to happen in order for it to work to the best of it's ability? If it matters, I have no plans to supercharge. Thanks for any input!

No plans for a lot more HP, stay with the 28 splined rear.

So are you saying stay stock or would the 28spline Detroit truetrac LSD that they sell on ADTR.net be a good mod? Would it improve driving? Or would it feel exactly as stock is now?

I use a Ture Trac - its an awesome rear choice... U'll luv it...
31 spline isn't req'd unless u plan on more power... but remember if/when u sell the vehicle its a good selling point to have the 32spline already installed so future upgrade of the rear inst needed to add more power...

In the snow I get in my area the True Trac is wonderful... car now goes places in snow i would never attempt in the past... even with summer tires in snow.. IMO best street/track rear you can get...
