I'm guessing the Chevy ss will sell fewer numbers than the marauder. They've only sold 1600 so far this year.

Price is too high. Im a GM guy at heart but the price tag is up there a little.
Won't they have end of year incentives to ease the pain? . . . :dunno:
As gas prices decline because we import only 10% of the oil we need
maybe there will be more high performance vehicles within reasonable cost.

I would buy one if it was $30k-$35k.

I wouldn't mind getting the new SS for my next car. Like everyone else I'm just sitting around waiting for the price to drop.

That's why I went for a used Lincoln MKS w. Ecoboost.
Saved thousands compared to new. (31K vs 52K).

I can see 30 35k in a few years from now. If not then they will be eye candy stuck on the floor

I think the ss is a little bland in the looks department. Reminds me of a rwd malibu. Now the ctsv wagon I lust after.

Exactly what my buddy has, and that car runs 13.40's all day.
I saw the SS for the first time and loved it. The price tag not so much

Around the state of Maryland the only ones I have seen were in Maryland State Hi Way Patrol 'LIVERY' marked and unmarked -however - Criswell Chevrolet in Virginia [Suppliers to law enforcement] have sold a Few SS's and Sport Chevrolet in Silver Spring and Koons Chevrolet in Virginia.

Good horse and torque numbers, steep price, and looks as boring as a Buick...

Save your money and buy a clean, used G8 GXP.
Much better looking car and the same Holden platform.
