Marauder compliment this morning

Was parking the Marauder early this morning and an older gentleman walked by with his dog. He said "Nice Marauder". I said "thanks, not many people know what it is". He said he liked the exhaust sound (still stock). And he went on to talk about his 65 Marauder Parklane from many years back. It had a 390 and he used to chase all the kids down on the street and ran it hard. He seemed like a nice guy and I enjoyed the comment. Haven't gotten a comment in the car in some time.

Last Sunday I had guy driving a 50's Bright Yellow Speedster compliment my car. Later that day, I was pulled over by local Law Enforcement. They had had reports of muscle cars racing around, so they pulled me over because "you have a flashy muscle car". :beer: I laughed. Explained to them, it was not me and this was the first time I had been pulled over in years!

Usually at least once or twice a month at gas stations someone will comment on the car, and strike up a conversation about it.

Over the summer while driving on the Long Island Expressway I was passing a guy in a 1965 Mustang that was black, and absolutely gorgeous...what does he do? He gives me the thumbs up. :cool:

Mine gets comments when I get pulled over............. really.
I get comments and questions 80% of times I stop in public. The two tone get's 'em every time.
Never get's old. ;)

Everytime I'm out I get compliments on the Marauder. On the other hand the wife's Charger R/T never gets any..... she gets pissed.....

My wife gets mad at all the attention paid to the Marauder. In her words "it's just a car":) That's why she never gets to drive it.
