Hello everyone,
Recently my power steering will fail and with it, the air suspension light comes on. Is it possible for a relay to do this, intermittently?
Thanks

RAS and EVO are in the same module behind the glove box. Has two connectors on it. Make sure they're properly seated.

Relays get burned contacts and will work intermittently....don't ask me how I know but I replaced them ALL in the box under the hood last year!!:argue:
EVERYTHING works like it should now!!

+1!!!
As our cars age the relays work less reliably. Cheap and easy fix to try first.
The variable assist power steering and air suspension compressor share the same fuse

yea when this fuse blew ^^^ I lost power steering, air susp, and parts of the cluster, if these are still working then your fuse is good

Could someone send me a fuse panel diagram, I don't have an owners manual.
Thanks

It wasn't the fuse, I switched them around still intermittent. I didn't see a relay for the power steering, if there is one I'm not seeing it on the diagram. I wiggled the connectors at the module behind the glove box, nothing. I did notice the other day my air ride pump kicked on, with a diffenent hum to it, the power steering then went inop. until the pump turned back off then the steering returned to normal.

Does anyone know where ground #200 is, the ground for the RAS EVO module?

It's behind the passenger kick panel, but it if was bad, you'd have a whole host of other problems.
Since you say the PS went inop while the RAS compressor was on, then restored when the compressor shut off, that sounds like an issue in the RAS/EVO module.

I will try a new module, could I use one from a MGM, or are they different?

My module failed a couple of years ago, air ride vented and steering was intermittent, didn't happen all at once
