Everyone I've ever talked to love SeaFoam. But how do you guys feel about Marvel Mystery Oil? Is it worth it or a gimmick? Do you personally use it as a fuel or oil additive or both?

The only place I use it is in my air tools.

I've only ever heard of it being used to unseize engines, never as an additive.

A lot of the old-timers used this stuff for lots of different things. As a fuel additive, add it to the crankcase, one guy I knew would add it to his transmission.
I use it in my air tools as well, it's cheaper than the snap on tool oil lmao.

Great old school stuff, I use it mainly for winterizing engines now.
It's good for many purposes though.

MMO is well-regarded on BITOG, but mostly for use in engines that have been mistreated and are sludged up and/or have cylinder deposits.
If your engine is in sound mechanical condition it doesn't need anything added to the oil; indeed, today's oils are so good they don't need anything added to them to do their job properly. I do recommend using a bottle of Techron or Regane to the fuel 2-3 times a year to help keep the injectors clean and to remove intake valve deposits, but that's about it.

 It's like $4 a quart. Maybe you're thinking of something else?

It does smell good, too good, tempting to take a sip when no one's looking good... Anyways, you use it in your gas and oil? So I assume then you find the bottle's claims to be true?
