I looked at the Marauder in August. I passed because of the cage. I cannot comfortably drive an MM with this cage, due to a back issue I drive with the seat a certain way.

This is a great case study of marketing. I look forward to seeing how it ends up, but would really like if it ends up mounted on my 8k mile MM. I'm the perfect consumer scenario for a new kit but can't justify against the price of the car I just bought.

I'll have to wait until some poor guy's Trilogy car rusts out and I can buy and rebuild the kit for a reasonable price. Or maybe another NIB kit will turn up! Come on Craigslist!!

You guys are spoiled!!!!:rolleyes: Ever check out the price of a NIB oil pressure gauge for a 1970 442 with the rally pack?.... over $500 (.97 in 70) or a used original OAI hood? Still, I'd buy a used MM already with the kit. I take the same approach to my old cars, NOS is only New Old Stock until you put it on the car, then its a used part, so unless I get a fabulous price I buy used.

Also I went test driving some Mopars before I decided on fixing the MM. I kind of agree - with the low price and the low financing you get a heck of a car in the 20s low 30s.

pics and video when you get it done from the driver's seat..go pro vid cam or something. Lots of trilogy experts here for install, it does come with install manual and I believe their Trilogy tune.. I think it is inthe range of 380-390 rwhp on the stock trilogy tune and parts.

Others can chime in, but I've got 3" upper and stock lower and I'm a whisker below 450 whp. Keep that stock lower end safe.

Billetflow for the upper, Metco for the lower. Make sure to specify Trilogy as the upper shaft is different from an Eaton and the lower hub on the Trilogy brings the pulley ring 3/8" closer to the block than an Eaton.

Also, like mentioned, chose your combos wisely to keep the power down. My old 3.2 pulley with Trilogy lower made 456/431 @ only 11.7 PSI.. Remember also that more boost requires a new tune and more than likely more fuel (new pump), and a bigger MAF, MAFia, and CAI. To address more boost, a better tensioner will be in order. You can order that from Blue Oval Chips once again for a Trilogy.

Don't forget an AFR gauge!

I'm with you on that note. I know way toooo many people that bought Chargers and some bought them brand new and nobody paid anywhere near 40 for an RT! Around here you'd be crazy to pay that. You can get an SRT new for that price especially this time of the year. I saw that link and $23k is well worth it and I might look into taking a one-way flight there lol. :beer: It makes more sense than spending all that cash and no warranty. Only logical way to spending money on a SC MM is to buy a clean MM that's already done and well maintained. That's the deal I'd suggest everytime or a new RT. I wish these SC MMs were frequently available at the time I paid $23kwhen I got mines back in 08' smh

Not all Marauders have a 160k on them, some of us chose not to DD them, while being chastised for it, our low mile cars are still worth real $$$$, and anyhow, no matter how sweet the deal on a SRT or Hellcat, it's still a Dodge, just can't get past that for me.....
