I thought this might be of interest to anyone thinking of replacing pinion seal or rebuilding a rear I bought this tool online from RATECH (18002) for $25 because I needed to install a new pinion seal & crush collar in MM rear. In the past I've always used a pry bar which sucks and is dangerous. My first time using it was on a F150 8.8 rear I was rebuilding I had to enlarge the holes a little to accommodate the larger bolts. Not sure if the tool was designed to work on a truck so I can't complain about having to modify it. Using a couple driveshaft bolts you secure the tool to the yoke selecting the proper hole pattern on the tool (oval holes) then select the proper drive hole (square holes) insert either a 1/2" or 3/4" breaker bar into the drive hole and now you can torque away without it slipping Once installed it worked as designed And made setting the pinion preload easier & safer & more accurate. I didn't use it to pull the yoke off but it looks pretty straight forward when I do my MM I'll update you all on that part of it.
Hope this is helpful

Nice. I have something similar I use on pinions, mine has a built-in handle.

Looks like this:
