I came across this guy from another car club I am with in Chicago. This guy had a Christine car and I asked if I could go for a ride. To my surprise he said yes. We cruised around for about an hour listening to Oldies and him driving like a mad man. He was not easy on the car. As you will see from one picture that is why I was smiling.
The owner also educated me on the car. The engine is a Mopar 350... one year only and only in Plymouth. The movie car also had flow masters. .. the first ever. So he says. The owner loved music and had no interest in sports. It was almost like Step Brothers. .. "Did we just become best friends?" Owner has zero Interest in selling The car ever. The guy was also gunning it out of ever stop sign especially when people were around. A true attention whore, but for all of the right reasons.
The guy also knew about the Marauder and liked it a lot. Called it a Panther. The guy knew his stuff.
Do not hesitate to ask for anything in this world. This was true something I did not know I would accomplish. Next is buying one of these someday.

Not intending any disrespect to your buddy, but the Golden Commando 350 motor had dual 4-bbl carbs...it doesn't look like there's room for dual quads under that air cleaner.
Having said that, it looks like a very nice car!

Bob, the bottom end could be original. I agree though, doesn't look like 100 percent original setup.

The car was a work in progress. We were listening to the engine, laughing and blasting Ricky Nelson so much, the interior didn't bother us. Plus we had the windows down the whole time.
I had never been in a car with a push button trans until that day.

I figgered it was Dom.....very nice car from what I see in your photos!!:bows:
My 1959 Plymouth had Push Buttons and the "Reverse" button broke and fell into the dash so I had to be careful where I parked 'cause "Forward" was all I had for about a week!!:(
BTW....Push Button transmissions were not too well accepted and were eventually dropped by Chrysler!!

Ditto-Yes sir/ also in 1960 some of the 361 & 383 engines were equipped with the 'SonoRamic' commando V8 package ,Cross ram tubes with two opposing 4 barrel carbs with ball and socket linkage / 460 lbs tq on the first gen 383 ,later shorter 'ram' versions came on the 413 & 426 superstock engines [ for you mopar guys ] Richard Petty and Ray Christian :burnout:
