Ok I have been reading here about oil on plugs being kind of normal..is it normal if its not causing a misfire but it is oil down in the cylinder where the plug is? Could replacing the valve cover gaskets fix this? Or is there some internal problems?

Bad valve cover gasket is the first thing I would think of.

On my old Crown Vic, I found the same symptom when I was replacing the intake manifold. A generous smear of RTV along the seam stopped the leak. Of course, that's not the ideal fix.

There is a gasket that is around the spark plug hole, if you have oil in the spark plug well then that is usually the cause of it. Now if you have oil on the spark plug tip that's another issue. lol

You could clean the spark plug well and then recheck after a few days or week of driving. If it's wet again or has oil in it then definitely replace the gasket.

Were the Valve covers off before ?
I have oil in #8 plug after the cams were done,Looks like the gaskets were not seated properly when the massive awkward big covers went back on.:(
You might have the same prob or if they were never off it could be the gaskets are deteriorating due to age.

I had this issue. Fixed when I did the Eaton swap. Blew out the coil once.
