Self inflicted LCM/headlight problem

Help please. I modded my LCM some time ago with an external relay. Recently my tail lights have been acting up. The other day I went to go tap the LCM and I hit the relay and shorted one of the leads. Everything works but headlights, both high and low and no flash to pass or highbeam indicator. If I put power to 30 on the external everything works. Did I fry the circuit board or is that a fuse someplace?
Ford is replacing under warranty as soon as part available. Put it in as emergency but LCM is on national back order.

Check the fuses... #24 - 10A & #26 - 10A. How did you short the lead? No relay socket?

Been waiting for my LCM for almost 5 months... good luck.

I checked 24. No sense in checking them both. I am going to pull the LCM and see if I just have to resolder that lead. And yes, no socket. Used spade terminals and didn't tape it up good enough.
I can run a wire from the battery to the "30" terminal with a toggle switch if I have to. At least I can use the car than.

My repaired ones have been working good for many many years....... Have over 150 out there.

BTW.. I now replace the three other relays inside with higher amperage units....... all for the same price.

I just took my marauder to the ford dealership yesterday because my LCM module gave up. They told me that my car will be in there one more day because they did not have the part in stock and it will get there tomorrow. So your telling me that my wait will be months

I called after my dumba** shorted mine out. They show no promise date in computer. She was going to follow up on Monday (I called on Saturday). I haven't got a chance to call back.

Like I said.... still waiting for the call that mine is in. Five months and counting.

Took almost 3 months to get mine for the marquis. Lights are still working in the MM for now.

Dealer called me for my VIN tonight. Said they are going try to authorize getting one as an emergency.

I've been waiting since April for mine.

My headlights quit permanently last week, hitting the LCM didn't do anything anymore. Called the Ford dealer last Thursday the service/parts manager said he overnighted one from "emergency stock". My appointment was yesterday. Picked up my car after hours 7:30 PM. But when I got it home only my headlights, brake lights, and corner lamps worked. No running lights, turn signals, fog lights. Turns out all they did was put a Dorman LCM repair module in. And didn't connect it all the way. I called back today and was told Ford authorized the Dorman repair because there aren't any LCM's available

Maybe this is what they are doing for you also.

Just an FYI... if Ford sees the "repair" they will not warranty the LCM.

Took mine in they paid for the rental car, a week later I traded it in on a F 150 Screw
