Why do you hollow out pass side pcv when doing eaton swap thx

To provide something to attach a hose between the CAI and the cam cover. And since you should replace it with a boost referenced one anyways, why go and spend money looking for an adapter that will accomplish the same thing?

The PCV system has to flow from the intake tube to the engine and the intake is swapped from the drivers to the passenger side. Can't flow into the wrong direction of a check valve.

PCV is looking for fresh, filtered air. Like was said, intake is swapped to pass side.
