Not good idea to use pressure hose to clean engine compartment..too many water realted problems in areas that should not get water can develop..(cops-coil on plugs etc which cause misfires)...and welcome..my grandparents on my mothers side (long deceased now were from Finland) ..moved to US in the 30's

What's the history of the car? How did it wind up up over there?

BTW, I've used a pressure washer on my cars a bazillion times and no issues. It's how you use your magic wand.....

PS My wife is Finnish. She says Mitä kuuluu?

Welcome, Jari!

Please tell us how you acquired this rare car.

To answer your oil question, the motor was spec'd for 5W-20, but most will tell you with the supercharger to step up to 5W-30. Either will serve you well unless you drive the car hard or plan to race it, then 5W-30 would be the better of the two. Some here have used 5W-40 as well...

Also, don't pressure wash the engine...just use a light mist.

I think there is a Trilogy Twin-Screw in Sweden...

Pressure wash doesn't mean you use full pressure at point blank range on every square inch of the motor and under hood components. Just use common sense.

Welcome to the site, I have always had good luck using a high quality engine cleaner/degreaser and rinsing with a fine mist from the garden hose.

Get the engine warm, add a fine spray of water, apply degreaser, scrub where you can then a fine mist for the final rinse.

Good luck.

May not be too serious, take COP covers off, dry out plug wires, spray the ends with silicone spray put it back together and try again.

Hello T-Bone.
History? Just one owned car from Arizona, and my friend bought that Marauder and sold to me. I have been looked over three years many Marauders to buy, but this one was perfect. Low mileage and supercharged.
Maybe you know this car. VIN 2MEHM75V93X628759

Say hello to your Wife: Kiitos, kuuluu hyvää
