So i put on the winter steelies that came with my car from the previous owner. I assumed they were CV wheels but they seem to stick out a bit and im wondering if they might be from an explorer. Here is the number i got off the wheels.

A picture will probably get you an answer much faster than just an ID number....I'm just sayin :)

They could be from 98 - 02 crown Vic. They have different offset. It changed in 2003. Yes , post a pic

They look like 98-02 wheels to me as they are not "flat faced" like the 03-05 steelies in 16 inch size are

Yep those are definitely the 98–02 wheels. Do you have any rubbing issues with them so far?
Within the next few weeks I'm going to have a similar look when I put on my winter wheels as I also have those same Mercury center caps.

I havent really driven it all weekend except the 5 miles back to my house from my dads shop but no issues that i experienced. I may clip on some mud flaps thou because i could see the sides getting beat up.
I put the stock tails back on too for the more police look. I normally have the s-55 style lights on. Blue line plate was added as well.
