Anybody had this problem? "Yes" / Get your code pulled from a reputable repair shop with a decent Snap on unit or FOMOCO unit [ I see you may have alrady] ,these cars have sensors in the right and left center door pillars and these sensors work in conjunction ...The P71's do not have them. "Fast black Merc" is very knowledgeable in the Fault code dept with FOMOCO products

I already took it out its a small white plastic piece that bolts onto the side of the track in a bracket it senses what position the seat is in because it rides along the track.

Seat position sensor, change over from a vic or grand marq? Possibly you will need to source one from a wrecking yard.

With that said, I have had some issues in the past with these on fleet CV's, it has never been the sensor, but always the wiring, as it flexs when the seat is moved, verify your wiring is good as well as the pins in the connector with a DVOM or a Simpson.

A piece of plastic got caught in my seat track and popped the bottom part of the sensor triggering my air bag light. All is well now
