Look for Chris Wright's post (cwright) of the upgrade I did for his MM. I think he also did a video.

Amazon is a good place to look for led's. Try to get 5050(5.0mmX5.0mm) leds as they offer more light output than smaller leds......COB style leds might also be a good choice. My interior is blindingly bright at night time, i spliced two 48 5050led panels into my dome light, and have panel festoons in the map lights. Whole interior and rear tag light can be had for less than $45.
