I purchased several parts from a wrecked cobra and in this was the ford oil cooler, hoses, and looks like everything to add this. It simply attaches to the oil filter location. My questions are has anyone done this? It looks like it will bolt right up and hoses and everything look to fit placement. I have read in mustang forums they complain of coolant in oil and leaking issues. I will be putting on stainless works headers, looks like might have clearance issues, anyone have both? Thanks

I don't think there is room for it on or cars. Other stuff mounted in the way.

When do you want me to come by your shop to make a list? LMK off Fridays and Sundays.

I was thinking I should have everything I think need in by the 5th. Let me know if that works for you. Can't wait to go for that ride if weathers good.

Either the 28th or the 5th is fine. Gotta get with you about doing the wife's car. Thanks.

I use one of these on my Mercury marauder with SW headers...

However, the filter will not fit in stock location due to a frame clearance issue. I simply added an oil filter relocation kit & now have my oil filter mounted directly to the frame approx 10-12 inches from original location.

Pro:1 exrta cooling
2 This will increase total oil the engine has in it per change.

Con: 1 remote oil lines need to be routed well & be high pressure (best Stainless wrapped) due to fact the engine will rock & the oil filter mounted on the frame will stay stationary... I have already had to change a set of lines after 5-7 years of very slight rubbing
