Mark.......^^^^^What BigDog said^^^^^^. Can't tell what kind of material it is. I've used a California Car Cover on the Mustang Cobra's I've owned (2), my old '92 CV, and now the MM. I bought the Noah which has done a very good job. I have never had any damage from the cover. As with any cover you use, "don't" put it on a dirty dust covered car. Also, the cover can be washed.

^^^ what they said ^^^
I've been using a Simonize cover, 17' - 19' for very large cars since I bought the MM. I added nylon straps to hold it down, plus got 50 extra feet of nylon webbing to keep the cover on in heavy winds. 1 extra strap around the front end, 1 strap behind the front wheels, 1 strap in front of the back wheels, 1 right over the top in the middle and the last over the back end and trunk. It's held up in highway speed winds and thunderstorms. Very little movement of the cover in wind.
I cover it every night, and it spent the winter outdoors. I always dust it with the Califronia Dust mop before covering it for the night, and wash it in the machine, no soap + cold water, when it gets too much birdie doo-doo on it.
No problems so far.

Must be great to be a good speller, too. I think "candian" means a person who likes sweets.

I went with a custom cover called "Weathershield" from autoanything.com. It uses a fabric called Nextec, which is lightweight, highly water repellent, and machine washable. Was less expensive than the Nextec cover from California Car Covers, but is very similar or possibly identical. Fits the Marauder like a glove. They threw in a storage sack. Also bought from them the Cal car duster to use each time before the cover goes on.
IMO, a well-fitting cover is worth the investment. Spend some time online checking out the different fabrics that are used, and pick one that suits your needs and climate.
My complaint is that the manufacturers don't seem to address the wind problem. I'm gonna ask Dr Caleb exactly how he attaches the straps to the car and what exactly is nylon webbing. I came up with a dorky system to keep the cover on during very windy days and would like to try something better/easier.

mmmK dude,
Nylon Webbing. Woven straps of nylon, you can get it at most hardware stores. I just bought 50' of it, and 4 or 6 of those plastic locking connectors - like you find on backpacks.
I attached two 8' lengths of it to the grommets on the cover. To those, I attached a couple of the connectors. All I have to do is 'toss' the strap under the car, go to the other side and connect it. Nice and tight. The grommets on the cover are located behind the front wheel, and in front of the rear wheel, so they're basically in the wheel wells - no paint to touch.
If it gets windy, I have a couple longer straps that I can attach as needed. I strap one over and under the car; in front of the front wheel and across the hood; Over the roof to hold it tight to the side and top - this gets rid of any flapping against the door from the loose overhang from the mirror; and again over the trunk, behind the back wheel.
I'll take pictures when I cover it up tonight.

Dr Caleb-
Thanks for your fast reply. My cover has only two grommets, one on either side, right in the middle of the length of the car. So I have no trouble securing the cover right in the middle. It's the whole front and rear that blow around. I would have gladly paid more if the cover had come with a bunch of grommets or tabs, but the mfr. must think all days are calm and still.
I'll be lookin' for your pix. There must be some way I can use a strap system. Or I was thinking of sewing on some tabs, but this Nextec material is not woven like regular fabric, so I'll have to do a test on the carrying case which is made of the same material.
The world needs a new invention . . . a car cover that's convenient to use on windy days.
Thanks,

There's not a single soul on this site who is dorky. They are all perfect specimens, otherwise I wouldn't be hangin' out here.

Purchased from Ford MM Noah black custom car cover with Marauder white name for $218 vs. $283 list. Very good fit with double stitched seams and clear license plate window. Even has pockets for side mirrors. Tight elastic at front and rear. Had to buy one before they were sold out. Costly, but good product - go for it.

Should I or Should I not, that is the question
