Weather tech floor mats

I have found that they have the specs, and CANA do it... But haven't succeded in getting them too.

Husky at least used to make them for crown Vic. I have a set and use them in the marauder. I have switched them between 3 panthers now.

Difference in the sets purchased myself is Weathertech has a nice high edge around the liner that provides better containment of fluid run off...

I went into weather tech and asked why they are ignoring our requests. They basically said find someone else to make them for us. They will make some for newer vehicles, not ours. Demand is not high enough, tooling costs too much and they are big time now. We the little people have no voice with them. As i walked out, this was said: "Please don't come back"

I contacted Husky and they said they destroyed the tooling but they used to make them. They have no plans to make more. At least they weren't jerks like Weahtertech.

I will follow up with Husky. They made me a one off set in tan from the tooling a couple of years ago for the wagon and a friend of mine had them make a one off for his Town Car a couple of months ago. It is likely the same pattern.

I will give it a shot. They can make any standard color on demand.

I tried to order some Husky Liners from Truck Champs (they are a member of BBB) since they showed them on thier site but they never shipped and I haven't heard anything from them. So I'm anticipating a refund soon and email with "so sorry, they are discontinued".

They are officially discontinued and they may have destroyed the molds but they also could be out on the pile of old molds. That is what happened to my friend, he found the right guy who did the searching.

It wont hurt much to try again.

MIght try Lloyd custom mats. They don't have a Marauder logo nbt do have mercury and they say in the FAQ section they are able to embroider logos of the manufacturers they represent, however one set of mats is not cost effective..maybe they would be up to a group buy, pending how many need to be sold.

Lloyd mats are nice. I bought a trunk mat with the Mercury logo from them. Had to put in an older model of MGM on the website I bought it from because they didn't show it available for the MM but it fits just fine since the trunk size is the same for the aero whales.

But Husky Floor Liners are not the typical floor mats. They are like a plastic floor pan that covers the entire carpeted area to catch all spills, sludge, etc. from getting on your carpet. See the poll thread for the links I provided of what they look like.

I wonder what constitutes "Late Model". Wasn't the last CV,GM 2010 or 11? I would consider that a late model car.
