What are some basic bolt ons that can be done?

K&N intake, exhaust, BBK throttle body, what about a driveshaft or are we already set in that area?

anything else?

what gears do you have the stock 3.55s if so go with 4.10s and a higher stall converter and you will feel plenty of difference. And get a tune to work with those changes and you should be more than happy.

I have had my car up to 140 - 150 numerous times (on a track) and have never once felt any issue with my drive-shaft, maybe I'm lucky but that's the last thing I'd spend money on.

3.55's, do we have an option to upgrade the driveshaft? My 96 Cobra has the FRPP aluminum driveshaft.

what about a bbk throttlebody?

then go to 4.10, get a tune and dance. Stall convertor too, if you're into them. Sure makes my car FUN!!
Does the driveshaft vibrate? If not, stop thinking about it.;)
from what I've read, and the number of cars with stock throttle bodies, that is a wasted purchase.

Accufab is the only throttle body some have tried here, some say slightly increased throttle response, others say not worth the $$$, better off spending that money to a tune from Marty O.

Marauders have aluminum driveshafts already. Mine has a Dynotech shaft, but I bought it with it already installed and they are like $500-600.

Have heard that aftermarket throttle bodies are only gainful with forced induction

Instead of a K&N do a JLT.

Exhaust is not just a simple bolt on, fabrication is needed.

Throttle body will give you better throttle response and not much else.

If your concerned about the driveshaft get is balanced and install heavy duty u-joints, otherwise leave it alone.

I run a BBK throttle body and as result my accelerator pedal is way more sensitive. It was a gain on my car, because I flow a lot more air with the supercharger. Don't go this route on a normally aspirated car. The factory TB is not a restriction to making power at WOT for you.

ok thanks guys. I like the way the K&N looks and I've always bought K&N products for my other cars, so I'll be going that route.

I'll contact Kurgan soon and do 4.10's, and a dynotune.

Also get front and rear sway bars at least. Control arms if looking to spend money. Makes the car alot more responsive!

To my knowledge Addco is the only manufacturer that makes MM sway bars.

+1 - maybe Hotchkiss, but Addco are priced fair.
I noticed a big difference in rear end sway with aftermarket rear control arms, then a little better again with the larger rear sway bar. Not sure which is the best for the buck, but both together do wonders.

The part number for the sway bars was posted earlier. Do you perhaps have the part number for the rear control arms that you like....?
