Found a CCT off a nice member here.
Mine wasn't leaking and replaced it because of esthetics.
Getting it out was a bear.
Sand hand hammer and some wiggling and finally popped out.
New one in.
Happy.
Also a piece of mind that it's replaced
I might sand blast mine and sell it. Not sure.
Just want to say thank you. Great site.

Did you burp the coolant system? An airlock will create a pocket and car will overheat. I can post a link to the procedure if needed. The cot looks familiar

Thank you. I used the link off this site about filling and burping. I have done it once already by replacing the steel tube that runs to the heater core with a rubber hose. I used the Burp System and worked fine. And again yesterday.
2 thumbs up ! Happy to have removed the eye sore(to me) from my motor. And piece of mind.....
I think my old tube is salvageable after some sandblasting and paint...
a ss engraved crossover tube plug would really dress it up ! :banana2:
