My son called me a couple of days ago to tell me someone had traded in a Black 03' Marauder at the Lexus dealership where he works, so I asked him about the condition and the mileage of the car. He said he would check for me, I called him yesterday to inquire and he said he could not find the car. I went by today to see the car and....well there is no Marauder, it was stolen...talk about high demand.
Guess whoever stole it musta worked for Mercury....
They thought if they'd make it go away...nobody would miss it....:P

That's sick that someone would steal a car, although I can understand someone wanting a Marauder bad enough. Actually, once the Marauder officially get's discontinued, we will need to stick together to make sure that we won't get treated like we are the bastard children of Ford. The v8sho owners probably know what that feels like nowadays............

Todd's got experience in this department.
On its first night home my car sat in the garage last night. That is where I plan to put it every night. IMHO, by keeping it inside it becomes less of a target becasue fewer "night people" ever find out where it really lives.
May none of us ever have our Marauders stolen. Can I get an AMEN?
Best,
Dan

Hey Dan,
It's bad enough having normal cars stolen, (I've had two, recovered) but a few bucks back from the insurance company certainly won't cover the extra time and effort we all seem to spend on a Marauder.

AMEN to that dude. Seriously though, it's really scummy that there are car thieves out there. I still can't understand how someone feels they have a right to help themselves to something I worked my ass off for. It's just not supposed to work that way..............

03 MM for sale on the used car lot of All American Ford/Chevrolet, Hackensack, NJ. (26K plus, I think. Car's on the Chev lot.)
Dealer has some interesting cars.
Has a red Supercharged Monte Carlo decked out from the factory ala Nascar on the Chev lot.
On the Ford lot, he's got 2 Mach 1s (one used), two Cobra Mustangs ( one convert) and two 04 Birds, one Mint Green with white/black interior (sorry, not for me) and one in Merlot with sand interior (very nice).
He's an SVT dealer.
Another SVT dealer in Ridgewood, NJ, has had two Cobra Mustangs for a while now.
Took a look at the Silver Birch MM out in Wayne, NJ, but can't get the wife interested. (She wants a Jag XJ sedan.) Fat chance.

Your wife has a good taste in cars! Those Jags are just beautiful works of art. I only wish that we could see the return of a V12 Jag(nevermind very few people would ever be able to afford it).

In the old west they used to hang horse thieves, thought was you took away a man's horse, you took away his livelyhood. IMHO, cars are the same deal, the thieves will go after them until the risk for being caught is too great. Big problem is we've turned our rights over to the "feel-gooders". They make it awfully easy to find excuses for abhorant behavior.

That is an excellent quote from that song by Willie Nelson and Toby Keith. Too bad I can't say anything positive about Willie though.........
Not to get political, but you got too many feel good liberals who don't seem to give a flying crap about the rights of the people who had a crime committed against them. Criminals have more rights than you do, and they don't see anything wrong with that. I agree that we should make the punishment for such crimes so great that the risk isn't worth it. Of course, then you'll have the frickin ACLU sueing everyone............
