As some may know, I'm going to install the Zack brake upgrade on my 2003 MM. I have everything I need now except brake pads. Not trying to start a big confusion, just need a low dust brake pad for street use only. My buddy recommends either EBC or performance friction. I will be using drilled and slotted rotors if that matters. Thanks in advance

Hopefully Zack or Jerry will have a recommendation as they developed the mod...

Be careful which rotors you pick...cross-drilled rotors look cool but can develop cracks. I think slotted-only rotors are better overall.

brake pads are a matter of personal choice imho

ceramic pads will have the least amount of brake dust.

I went with the Callahan brand rotors. I have put 25k miles on it in 4+ years.

Ceramic pads are the only way to go if you hate a ton of brake dust on your wheels , i like Wagner ceramic thermo-quiet pads stop on a dime , and no dust , or noise.

Centric Posi-quiet ceramics are my personal preference for a daily driver.

The wagners are good too.

Polymatrix Q pads.

Yup, don't dust much, wear for a pretty good time too. Just don't stop well. :P

Pick your battles.

I started on my brake upgrade today. Got the passenger side complete. Will do the driver side tomorrow. Pretty easy install. I took my time though.
