View Full Version : Replacing Key Pad
I ordered a new keypad, the old one has been gradually getting to the point where one or more buttons fail to make contact.
Now it's deader than a door nail. FOBS work OK.
Anything special I should know about this replacement task?
I have my factory keypad code.

It should just be "Plug 'n Play" Pat??
I have a new one for the same reason but have bigger things I'm dealing with right now so the Key Pad slid waaaaay down the list!!

My key pad is faded. Can you just buy and replace the cover or is it sold as a unit?

You'll have to buy the entire assembly.

I replaced the one on my former MM using the guts from a 2002-2005 Explorer/Mountaineer.
