I know this has been talked about before but could not find anything. If some one can point me to the thread that would be great or give me some input.
I hope my grammar is right.

Yes, grammar is important, as is punctuation and spelling. Abbreviations and jargon are OK but slang is problematic.
Me thinks Zack is having a positive effect on the quality of posts.

A friend of my daughter used Jiffy Lube and they put 90 weight gear oil in her car's engine back in the 90's.......motor blew in about 15 miles........a year later they replaced the motor......legal disaster!!:argue:
Any Quick Lube place is a BIG mess waiting to happen!!:shake:
BTW....I have used Mobil I 5W20 and 5W30 for 256K miles and will continue.....HOPEFULLY next week!!

Mobile 1 since I feel warm and fuzzy. FoMoCo was what I ran through it most of its life though. Also it helps to add a few oz of mrs buttersworth. Gives the exhaust an excellent smell.....
(Kidding, please don't go add syrup to your oil)

Stay away from those Jiffy Lube places I wouldn't let them guys touch my car to put air in my tires let alone do a oil change ,change it yourself and know there's no screw ups.

Still boggles my mind, I swear those jackass are taught to cross thread drain pan bolts. I totally didn't want to change the oil in our Kia so I told the wife just to take it in. ONE TIME. I go to take the bolt out. Mofo is in there so googly eyed I think the guy TRIED to cross thread it.

I use BG 109 Compression performance restorer before I drain the oil, let in run for 15 mins then drain. Then I use Castrol edge titanium 5w-30 and add a can of BG MOA additive.

You realise that if your engine is in sound condition and you're changing the oil at intervals appropriate to the vehicle's use, those additives are cleaning nothing but your wallet, right?
