And I blame you guys:shake:

low mile Cobra long block, freshened heads, studs, little Bullet cams degreed in, ready to go with my pan and covers.

2.3 Whipple, with Accufab, MAF etc, ready to go

So this spring, I'll install my Killer Chiller and enjoy the Eaton on my stock motor. If anything happens, or I get power hungry - I'll be ready :D
Clearly, I was born to be broke with cool cars.

Once my mind is convinced on a combination that will meet my goal, I'm a great deal finder:bandit:
Can't say the same for my goal to keep from spending car money for a year though :help:
Oh well, liquid assets that are available to use

yessir. Swore to it, with fingers crossed behind my back;)
Now that I tasted the treat F/I is on Marauder, getting to my usual ~500hp range for street use was inevitable :D

HEY!

We all have to start somewhere with this car.

I'll stay NA with mine until I can go turbo. :burnout:

Love to have me your Trilogy, my friend!
If these motors responed like a pushrod motor to bigger cams and ported heads, I'd still be n/a.
I do not like the risk of fuel starvation or weird causes of detonation wiping out my toy. But, these parts combinations seem pretty proven, so blown it is!

Awesome find/purchase!..I know I could buy whatever parts and do a whipple change, but I don't think that will happen...Enjoying what I have for now..but been thinking about a 68-70 chevelle wagon with a 500-600 hp LS motor and all the trimmings..either Hotchkiss or maybe air ride technologies, A/C, etc...nothing I'm eyeballing now, just down the road someday..but who knows that could change too..

LOL! I figured my first few months here were making some guys shake their heads
I was unaware how the Marauder mod bug REALLY is, and my knowledge was all pushrod motors.
I've been reading and researching non stop, you guys have helped big time.

Actually Bob, I was hoping you could show me what bolt it is for the Cobra timing cover to a Marauder cover needs to be plugged? I'm sure I can figure it out once they are side by side, but I'm going to pick up extra tins to button the Cobra long block up now, and not have to strip my Marauder engine when I swap.
thanks!

IIRC its around the 4 o'clock position from the water pump. Just the one doesn't line up, just epoxy the hole shut. I'll snap a pic in a few minutes as that cover is off right now.
