Nitto NT850 vs Motivo

Front tire wise. Just had my NT850's removed for a pair of Motivo's. I was able to get about 37k out of the NT850's. The outsides were getting worn pretty far but center tread still looked okay. Probably my slightly spirited driving style.

The Motivo's are pretty quiet. They have a more "bulgy" sidewall for sure. Pretty beefy tread for just 235's.

Rear wise my NT850 CUV's are have about 40% life left. Then I'll be running a Motivo since you can get them in the stock 245/55/18. I'm excited to get rid of the extra huge rear tire.

I have NT850s in my front as well. I don't think you can get the 850s anymore or maybe they just renamed then "Motivo" since the tread is pretty much the same

When I talked to a tech at Nitto he told me the treads are similar but the compounds and sidewalls are different. Which is why they have a higher tread rating.

That's interesting. I'm pretty happy with the Motivos in the rear so when it's time for new shoes in the front, I'm going to switch to the Motivos and have them all around
