Five years ago this weekend I rescued my Marauder from the lot at the local Chevrolet stealership. It still has well under 100K miles on the clock and save for a few chips and dings that came from use when it was my daily driver, it still runs and looks as smooth now as it did then.
I've more or less quit modifying the car because my priorities have changed (The Mrs. PR and I have our firstborn on the way), but the car isn't so slow that I mind.
This shot is actually a composite of eight separate images. This was done both to reduce noise and capture star trails without washing out the sky with a single long exposure. Usually I could easily record star trails in one take, but a bright moon that was high in the sky meant using different methods.
