Power pipe? Are you referring to the piping from the head unit that holds the filter? As for a filter, I'm going with whatever filter the p1sc guys are running. I'm trying to keep it simple but efficient.

Here (http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showpost.php?p=1429024&postcount=70) is what I am doing, except I won't be using the rubber reducing insert. Simple and efficient IMHO. I have the 90 degree elbow and the 30 degree pipe. I'll try to remember to snap a picture.

Any piping that is a direct bolt-on is big $$$
$1000 IIRC from Landy. Not knocking that by any means, just a lot of coin.

Jeronimojc

I figured it would be expensive. Good to know. Thanks.

Wouldn't a layout of the Procharger kit help in this regard?

No trick. It's just a bunch of bends and a crapload of rubber couplings. One night kind of stuffs. Try welding it all! :)

Welding is the mission. Especially this thingy..... http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15/01/29/75d07f669d7b5df23e98a8137344e5 9d.jpg

I built the entire piping kit for the turbo car in 2 hours. There is no need to weld anything. Hell, I JB Welded the MAF flange to the pipe!

Looking at this pic I will admit I'm jealous however. Not of what's in the "kit", but the fact that it is all NEW. In my 41 years on this great planet I have rarely had the opportunity to have new things.

Sob story yes, but true. Seems like if I had the money, the items weren't 100% to my needs/wants, it still had to be modified, or quite simply nobody makes it. But normally it's simply can't afford it, so I am forced into creating my own and going the trial/error, countless hours of R&D, looking brilliant or worse, plain dumb, plus the bloody knuckles...

Sure taking pride in your own creation reaps its awards (when things go good) but after so many of those it starts to feel more like an excuse. LOL

End of sob story, now go ***!

I'm impressed with you CJ. You set your mind on something and you are hell bent on getting what you want. Too many people around would rather sit around and talk talk talk! It's sooooo refreshing to see a "do'er"! And your also cool as **** and my homie. :)

[emoji22] I appreciate the nice words JB. I appreciate all of you. To be honest, all I had was a dream of being in a position to finally get this stuff. This past Mville pretty much gave me the go to pull the trigger. Attending zacks party, volo museum (everybody smoking me), YouTubing s/c Marauders, and tbone scaring the **** out of me with his Eaton experience. When I'm done with this, there will be a thank you thread in dedication to all the guys who assisted me or put up with my never ending q's.

More fun this way. Think how boring it would be to have enough money to have someone else do the work, or to buy a kit where everything fits and you don't get to exercise your creativity. Finding good deals and making things work is very rewarding. You learn a bunch more your way.
