Guys,
I read somewhere about some people having to 'clock' Thump Racing tensioners. Does anyone here know if this clocking applies to the 3-bolt tensioners also?
I have a lead on a used 3-bolt tensioner (PM-1004-76), the one advertised as a "Vortech" tensioner, but apparently can also be used with Procharger setups. If I buy this and then I have to pay to get it 'clocked' by Thump Racing, then I may be better off buying one directly from Thump that is already clocked properly.
Thanks!

Not sure about the 3 bolt. But the single bolt definitely needs to be re clocked. I would give them a call. They seemed knowledgeable when I contacted them.

I wouldn't waste the money on it. My stock single bolt with an 8 rib works fine at 18-19psi.
And daily driven!

That's amazing! I keep on finding lots of people breaking the stock aluminum ones and even the cobra 3-bolt steel tensioners. I wonder how you've managed to make this work.

If I had a 8 rib that would be fine but I have a 6 rib. I'm still not sure which Thump will work with my ProCharger.

I hear ya, but I don't get ya. I am of the opinion the amount of force a tensioner gets is the same whether it is an 6-rib or an 8-rib setup.

Can you tell if your pm-1003 can be clocked to different positions?

I was commenting more on the fact that he could do 18 psi with no slippage with the 8 rib.

Same here with 90K miles and 71 passes. Just inspected the belt at 15K and it is aok.

I have a brand new single bolt thump rrr tensioner that needs to be clocked. Thump said they will do it for free if you want to buy it for a decent price pm me. But clocked means the location where it rests like a hand on a clock lol.. Nvm just saw that your eaton swapped..

What's all this about clocking? I bought one for the Trilogy (I know it's different in alignment) but it didn't need to be clocked? Bolt and go.

Yeah the clocking issues are for centri setups only.
