I want to replace the Stainless Works mufflers on my car with stainless Magnaflows. I did some research a while back but could not find the right length, inlet/outlet sizes and offsets. I don't remember the specifications at the moment but thought someone might know right off the top of their head the right Magnaflow part number.
Thanks! :burnout:

Don't know a part number but your looking at an 18" case, 3" offset inlet, 2 1/2" center outlet.
Doubt you'll find the inlet and outlet in different sizes so you'll probably have to settle with a 3 & 3 with a stainless 3 to 2 1/2" adapter.

You're going to have to buy 2 1/2" inlet/outlet and take it to muffler shop to have the inlet stretched to 3".

No wonder I couldn't find the Magnaflow muffler with the proper specs. It doesn't exist.
I had a hell of a time getting the pipe to clear the watts link and not vibrate from time to time. Finally had to shorten the pipe where it connects to the muffler for clearance. Not sure if splicing on an adapter would make it necessarily longer, but it is a situation I am reluctant to visit once again. But I love the sound of Magnaflows.

If you take a close look at the stainless works mufflers, there are 2 1/2" mufflers, but the one side has been stretched to 3", The clear opening on the 3" side is only 2 1/2"
