Got both fpdm's and 2 aeromotive 340's finished up and running today.
With the old setup (vortech bap, racerx fpdm, aeromotive 340) it cruised around with 3 points less demand. Would run around 18, now 21 or so.

Question is; shouldn't it be lower with 2 pumps? Did the bap make that much difference?

Don't quote me, but I'm pretty sure you divide by 2 with 2 pumps

So it's possibly half what's showing? Now that would be fantastic!

Going to take the BAP with me for the retune, just in case. Hopefully that will be Friday!

Thanks Zack

Just reinstalled the BAP. Dropped FPDC by 5 at idle.
Was also wondering about the PPRV (think it's called)? I left it in when I installed both pumps. Should it be there, or should I remove it?

You should have 2 PPRV's if you keep them, otherwise eliminate it.
Huge restriction.

Just have one. Man and just filled the tank last night. Guess it's coming out once I get the fuel level down. 2 steps forward 1 step back.
Thanks

You will be fine with it in there, it's just better without it.
Note: You will need to cycle the key twice before starting with it removed.

That's easy enough.
Will be getting the retune tomorrow afternoon, so will see what it looks like. Will take it (PPRV) out if need be.
Hoping for 600whp! :D It's gotta be close.

Yes! I know! Jeff went off on me last time I saw him about how I have crossed the line!
In front of the wife no less.
Been driving it with the headers for a couple months now. So far so good!

Where is this line? Can you guys with +600 whp drive for a full tank of gas without overheating or experiencing other issues?

I don't, and haven't had any issues other than the factory cats coming apart.
Was told that 550whp is about the line, in a Marauder. 600whp for the lighter Mustang. Issues are fuel related, and transmission not holding or breaking. High gear/3rd seems to be were it gives up. High gear is over 90mph in my car, and all my playing is a 1-2 pull and out of it. Guess we'll find out next trip to the drag strip.

I don't think I'll have much trouble as I'm just cruising 98% of the time. Lots of 1st gear tire spinning though, blipping the throttle!

LMAO! Surely you are kidding? My car can go anywhere in the country under its own power! And its dyno proven!

Can you say the same for yours:confused:

How much HP is directly related to how much money you want to spend.

You can do as much HP as you want in a MM, but you will also have to upgrade other systems to reliably handle the extra HP.

Even 500HP in an MM will result in early tranny and rear end failures unless you upgrade them.

You talking to me?

I don't doubt your car can go anywhere in the country stopping every 45 minutes to cool off.

JK!! Seriously, can you drive continuously, one full tank, without overheating issues? How about an 8 hour drive?

Where do get the over heating theory from? And to answer your question my car runs 183* in the summer heat , IATs run at or below ambient in the summer All day long.

Why not? If your cruising along at highway speeds, you're running under vacuum and with very low amounts of fuel. You could use 19lb injectors on 1000hp car as long as you didn't get into it. The amount of heat buildup is the same as any other car. It's not like you're doing Ken Block...

If you can't drive your car on the highway or even in the city for over eight hours without overheating (or any other issues) you officially own a TURD.

I would trust my car any day for a cross country cruise and back. BUT, if I'm going somewhere to race or generally screw off the trailer comes out. Homie's been there broke that and it sucks.. Besides, the one and only trailer ride it has had so far was short lived as I donated my car and hauled my friends MM that happened to brake down. **** happens, I just like to be prepared and the fewer headaches the better!

There's a limit to stock if you drive it hard enough. :)
