Hi everyone.
Silly question but where can someone send their heads off to for some head work? You know, port and polish, angles, seats, spring and valve upgrades...
It's for a Eaton build. She needs to breathe a little better.
Thanks all!

Have to agree here , the gains will be minimal vs the cost.

Thanks everyone for your input!
My plans are 700-850rwhp. Whatever I can build this motor to.
I know, new tranny, rear end and such, but it's what I want.
I do know it's a minimal gain for the money but I also know I need to prep them for this kind of power. I'm changing cams for one thing, putting in blower cams. I need to make sure the heads will not be a weak link.
Thanks again!

If the Eaton cannot produce then I know a Whipple 4.0 litre will take care of it. Keep in mind, this is a built motor. The goal of the motor is 500-550rwhp then add the blower. Either way, I'm having fun.

We have a member in Tennessee who built his car to about that level and eventually went back down in power because it was so dangerous to drive....especially in rain!!
Be careful out there.....ya here!!;)

Yeah, rain would be bad news. I plan on keeping her on standby for sunny days only...

what and how are you planning to get 500 + RWHP and be N/A..as far as I know here, noone has done it in a Marauder.

LMAO! not going to happen......unless theres an LS motor under the hood as opposed to the tiny 281 CI mod motor.

That was my first thought as well, was going to post something but I didn't. lol
Even with a big bore stroker motor and supporting bolt-ons, 340-350rwhp is about what can be expected.

I did my research when I was building an NA big bore boss 5.0 w/ 11.1 CR, na svt lower intake and cobra intake cams, I would of been maybe just around that 330-340 range if I was lucky.
The mod motor needs FI to get over that 400rwhp mark in the Marauder.
Let the OP do as he pleases.

Take a look at some of the proven high HP combos by members here. I'd say you don't need a 500 whp na motor

You can count the number of 4V cars (hint: they're all Mustangs) with 500+ hp N/A on your fingers. And they're pretty much all 5.3 or 5.4L, on race gas, carbureted, dry sump, etc. It'll probably end up costing more than you paid for your Marauder.
But hey, if you have the money and time to actually do it... post lots of pics.

Simple Fox Lake does much better work at a fraction of the cost!
