A few days ago bought my second Marauder. It needs some work but overall it runs well. I would appreciate your feedback on some doubts I have. The engine runs good but it's making exactly this noise:

I can hear the noise when the RPM gauge hits 1000-2000 RPMs. At highway speeds it's not noticeable unless I turn off O/D in which case I can hear it again.
I'm trying to run some tanks of premium to discard bad fuel or lower octane fuel according to this thread:

Ok, now some questions related to the original title. In the worse case scenario and I need to have my timing chain guides replaced, can the instructions on this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oLtNZbTwMtc) and this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HAQwkISqdGw) other apply to the Marauders engine? Since the video describes the procedure on modular 4.6 engines like those in the Crown Vic would this work for the MM?
Is there a simple way to diagnose this?
