Front Shocks or Struts??????

I have an 04 Marauder & i want to know are their shocks or struts on the front suspension of our car i know it has the coil spring but neither one has ever beem changed & it rides very rough & i feel every bump i run over so do i get shocks or struts for the front????????

Technically they are coil-over-shock assemblies and not struts, but common terminology allows them to be called struts. I perfect the more accurate term "shock" for our vehicles.

But regardless, walk into any parts store and ask for a front strut, they'll get you the shock.

See if we can breath some life back into this thread. Regarding shocks, is there a preferred brand? Is it worth going with KYB? Back in the day I used to use Gabriel shocks and never had any complaints, though I'm aware they might not be popular opinion.
