Wanted to buy an new OEM rear trunk spoiler. I have contacted my Lincoln/Mercury dealership; they have stated that ford no longer produces this item(no surprise). and referred me to another dealership which might be holding one, but they also had trouble finding one. Does anybody have one or know where i can order one new in box unused will install instructions.

Ok thanks. Is yours factory or aftermarket..? The site is throwing an error code but will definitely check back later.. any other leads are appreciated.
Finding certain factory parts for these rare beauts is getting difficult.

The one I got from Sparta was factory....OEM.

In the box had all the installation hardware & instructions plus spoiler was primered.

RubberCtyRauder; this spoiler looks good i just want to verify that it is OEM because it doesn't state on the website if it is or not.

ADTR as far as I know, does not sell any junkie , low quality stuff . I have not dealt with them myself but hundreds on crownvic.net have

Used, no mounting instructions or hardware, already painted (if its the right color) oh and good luck getting that thing off of there!:lol::shot::neener:

my spoiler is cracked on the left and right side both are cracked about half way through. I want to paint the car next month. Is it better to get a new spoiler now or tell the shop to remove it fix it and then install it and paint it?

I would get a new spoiler all together, they are pricey but well worth it. Member "Curless" from the above posts can get you sorted send him a PM. I don't know the procedure with fixing cracks in spoilers but if you have some sort of warranty with the dealership go that route otherwise its gonna be a pain. Talk to your local dealer or shop and have them advise you on easiest or most effective route.
