Has anyone installed the new LED replacement bulbs (all lights except head and fog light)? They are taughted to work as is (no added resistor, relay, etc).
I am interested in replacing the tail, brake third brake, turn signal and backup lights.
A simply Google search yields many choices. I am seeking which are quality and used by you guys.
1. Please share the positive experiences and details for ordering: website, manufacturer, etc.
2. Please share the products to avoid.

He seems to be pretty informed on these electrical bits.

I know of no product out there that incorporates a resistor in the turn signal portion of the LED bulb that fixes the fast flash problem, so you will need to add resistors.
This is one of the best sites I've found for information and parts.

Backup lights - just replace the existing bulbs. I added 15w HIDs. A little more difficult to hookup.
Tail / Stop lights - You will need to add resistors to the turn signal circuit for each bulb. If you don't you'll have the fast flash problem.
Front driving / Turn signal - You will need to add resistors to the turn signal circuit for each bulb. If you don't you'll have the fast flash problem.
FYI... you can add an electronic flasher to the circuit going to the LCM that will cure the fast flash problem.
I have used many brands of LED bulbs and there are as many failures with name brand / expensive bulbs are there are with cheaper / no name brands.
This spring I will be doing a how-to on adding extra bulbs, LEDs and resistors to the MM.

So is it safe to say that you can replace plug and play most any bulb on the MM with LED except those that require a resistor (turn signals & tail lights)?

Only turn signals need resistors.

VLEDS V3 Triton LED bulbs come with resistors and resistor adapters (all plug and play), they are also $90-130 for a pair. lol

Yeah.... I'd need 5 pair...... I'll install resistors....
