I've had an opportunity come up to score a full eaton swap kit for a Mach/cobra. But I may sell the car in two or three years. Would you guys agree that value of SC marauders is usually 2-3k more? Usually supercharging a mustang that isn't factory doesn't get you squat on the resale. Would be fun as a last hurrah with this car. It's getting up in miles at 120k.

This came across my thoughts a lot also after I did the trilogy on my MM, I think it all depends on if you can find a MM fan because when its all said and done its basically a 4 door terminator and I know now you can find a decent cobra for the same amount.
but I say do it haha after driving mine for a week im addicted

IMHO
Get a ride in a s/c'd marauder if you haven't, then decide.

This is what drove me to keep mines. When I was ready to sell mines, I rode in guspec750 Eatonized Marauder. Two years later, I'm now 5 parts away from being procharged and weeks away from widen wheels.

If you have 2 or 3 years driving before you sell it, boost it!
I see an 03 ported Cobra in your sig, imagine the Marauder making you smile like that each time you touch the throttle.
resale? you'll spend more on the swap than you'll get in return, but it should grab a couple thousand over the same car but n/a. And your next couple of boosted years will be the payback.

Yea, I think I'm also suffering horrible withdrawals and to be honest N/A isn't do a damn thing for me without getting my fix in. I tucked the stangs away in October.
If I end up not jumping on this deal (I've got a week to think about it) I'll have my friend make an account and post it in the for sale section. He had a Mach 1 it was going on and the project died when he decided not to do the swap and get a 2011 GT. The difference in price when selling all the OEM 03' Cobra stuff that isn't needed will offset the cost of anything extra needed for the Merc parts for sure.

I never plan on selling mine so I don't care how much money I pour into it or what it's worth.
