Bad gas?

Hello everyone, i have recently purchased an 03 and i have noticed a very faint ticking noise that can only be noticed from the drivers side right around the front tire. Engine runs smooth and normal and noise is separate from the injectors. The only thing i could think of is that the previous owner said the gas thats in it is about a year and a half old (treated). My apologies for the repetition of this topic or if this specific topic has been covered
just wondering if sitting gas could cause a ticking noise.

Old gas would cause drivability issues, not ticking sounds.

Could be an exhaust leak or just the infamous head tick that many Marauders have.

After reading a few of the previous ticking threads im going to assume head tick, the car only has 39k and the underside is spotless so id hope there isn't an exhaust leak anywhere.

You would not necessarily see an exhaust leak as you would a liquid leak.

Some times you can "see" them when the engine is started up cold.
