2004 Black MM - Shaw AFB, SC 27 FEB

Filling the Grand Marquis with gas on Shaw AFB, South Carolina and a young man pulled in to fill up his 2004 Mercury Marauder. This young man probably thought I was nuts, I was so excited to see another Marauder. I found a scrap piece of paper and told him about MercuryMarauder.Net. Let him know there is a great bunch of people on this site that are willing to help out (A lot of knowledge here). He was in need of a new grill and I wanted to sit down and help him find one. I gave him my name and info, but forgot to get his.

I have been wanting to print out some of the MM.net business cards to hand out for this type situation. Guess this just reaffirms the need for printing them out.

This is only the 2nd Marauder that I have seen in the area (Besides mine). The first was a Silver Birch at McLaughlin Ford. That was back on May 23 2014.

Yea, know what you mean, our cars are getting more rare. Except in my area, I see a lot of Silver Birch's, especially downtown were there is a lot of large glass frontage on the buildings.

It took me a while :geezer:, but I finally caught on. Just wish we had more building's with glass frontage here in Sumter. Hmmm :hmmm:, that might make a good photo op :camera: , double your pleasure or something like that.
