Hey guys im about to buy a 2003 Marauder. Its in excellent shape. has 88K miles im getting it for 11,500. only issue is AC works but only blows on high and rear end i noticed a lil leakage. Is this a good price for this car. I love these cars and they are hard to find close to me. Thanks for the help. Any advice is appreciated.

The price may be a bit high. The rear end leaking may be a problem. Where is it leaking at? If it is leaking at the end of the axles then you are going to need to have it worked on quick. The 2003's are known for bad axle bearings. I had one that hit 100,000 miles and the bearing seized up and caused the rear wheel to fall off. Luckily the wheel waited until they were unloading it off the tow truck to fall off. Other than that sounds like you found a good one. Good luck!

Welcome to The Collective, Matt...
The fan stuck on high is most likely the BSCM (Blower Speed Control Module). It's a common simple-to-repair failure.
Rear end leakage can be simple and inexpensive or the opposite...where exactly is it leaking from?

You can't say the price is "high" having never laid eyes on the car , no used car is going to be perfect , and if the car is in excellent shape , and extremely clean paint its worth what someone is willing to pay.

You may need to budget for a rear end rebuild with a leak and that many miles. Leaks are usually a symptom of something worse.
Hard to say on the price, if it is super clean might be worth it. Otherwise I would say it is high given it may need some not-so-minor work.

You pay 10k for a ride that you don't have to much to it, not the other way around!

So two extremely common problems such as a bcm fix , and a possible rear end rebuild is lot for a 12 year old car? get real!

thanks for the info guys...i gone ahead and pulled the trigger on her. After looking for a couple weeks just couldnt find one around $11K that matched this one. I figured since the rear end and AC was a pretty common problem in these cars id rather just pay less for the car and fix it myself that way its brand new. The interior in immaculate and the paint is damn near flawless except for a couple oh **** dings from parking lots. but barely noticable. Pictures didnt do it justice. When i saw her in person i was like damn she is clean for a 12 yr old car. I picked her up in Houston and drove her 3 hours back home and rode like a dream!! Im in love!!

yes clean carfax. the person who owned it before me flushed the coolant around 75K miles. i already changed the oil to be on the safe side. Used Mobile one Synthetic 5/w20. Im going to flush the tranny and fix AC and rearend.

Congrats! Hope you got a price reduction to put towards fixing the car. Far better to have that axle done right like you want it.

after lifting the car up and looking underneath. The leak isnt coming from the axles its coming out right where the driveshaft goes into the rearend...im guessing thats an easier fix? is that the pinion seal?

It is possible you have a pinion seal leak without any underlying problems, but . . . take it to a good rear end shop for disassembly and inspection. You'll probably find axle wear and maybe a worn pinion bearing. Definitely new clutches at a minimum.
These axles have about a 100K lifespan, give or take. You are up there. It doesn't hurt to be optimistic, but don't just slap in a seal and pray. Look it over, or have a good shop do it.

The main concern is that sufficient oil remains. It is easy enough to top off and assure the correct oil level. Limited slip friction modifier is required, although as stated the clutches are unlikely to be working after 11 years.

I cant take a pic of it as my car is in my shop right now. But it is behind the right valve cover on the firewall. Not that easy to get to, but not impossible.
