I bought a Metco crank pulley hub for my twin screw, a couple of years ago. I'm finally going to install it with my future build. Stock motor started knocking.
I have a couple questions about the Metco lower pulleys. They are rated for the stock Eaton blower. With a larger blower, does it add even more boost?
The twin screw with the stock pulley is at 13lbs. I want to buy a 6lb lower to get close to 19lbs. The 6lb is listed as 9.1 inches. Does anyone know if it will fit? Metco's website only lists the 2 and 4lb pulleys with the Trilogy hub. I didn't know if that was for fitment issues or just to work with a factory motor. I did not buy a pulley, just the hub, while it was available. I can't get to my car to see if there is a fitment issue.
I also remember reading about somebody's boost dropping off and staying around 17lbs as rpm climbed. It seems like it was because of a restriction in the Trilogy throttle body spacer, inlet duct, or something. Does anyone know if that's the case?
Thanks Brian
