i just put on flowmaster 44 on my car. Not loud enough at all. From what im reading next step would be to get rid of stock tips and add res-delete tips. Where can i get those ordered?
Also rear cat delete, what do i need to do for that? Does that cause the engine light to come on?

Res delete tips don't really make it louder, however it does change the tone a little. Res delete tips were made by Cone Engineering but they are not avail. any longer. Sometimes members here have sets used/new for sale. You can also take the resonators out of the stock tips by removing the tips and literaly pounding them out. The tips will need cut off and rewelded on to due this. There are some aftermarket tips you can weld on..I think magnaflow makes a 22" tip..the factory tips are 26"..just need a decent muffler guy to add some pipe to the system and add the hangars back on
Removing rear cats wont cause engine light, nothing is monitored thru these cats. Removed them and replace with straight pipe. The hard part is finding a shop to do it, as most will not remove a cat due to fed. laws. If you know of a friend or yourself can weld, then that is the way.

You want to do a rear cat delete! I had Magnaflows put on, and it wasn't loud enough for me. Same shop did it under the table for $140. You might be able to find a place that would do it cheaper. You'll love it! It's just the right kinda of sound. Not to loud, quiet interior, n you'll scare the crap out of people when you nail it. A big smile will come on your face. You don't realize how good it sounds, till someone drives away in it.

Another +1 for rear cat delete.
Works just as well on the 2V cars.

I had my rears removed last summer. I still have the factory mufflers but still made a nice difference in sound. Still not loud enough for my taste but mufflers will come this summer.

The cats are what take away most of the sound,I did delete all the cats with the Stainless Headers and hook ups, still running the factory exhaust and mufflers and it is to loud, there can't be a whole lot of nothing in the factory muffler cause when you get on it everyone knows your there..

jmarino.....so the rear cat delete is just that? No tip change. Just the rear cat delete? Was there any drone at highway speeds? No lack of power?
I removed the resinators I had on my Impala SS and put 2 1/2 tips from axle back with 45 degree dumps and it slowed my car down as well the drone was horrible.
I love the sound you shown in the video. The loudmouths is not my personal taste.
Feedback please and thank you for posting the video

Yes just mufflers and cats. No power loss, atleast that I could tell. I think if anything it helped open up the flow. And no drone. Before tune i had drone with flows but after changing shift points and losing cats minimal drone. And with slp absolutely no drone! And yes slp are LOUD and raspy
