View Full Version : Help - Engine Coolant Leak

Two days ago I installed COT risers and relocated the coolant reservoir. Now I have a coolant engine leak that I didn't have before. The leak appears to be in the cooling mod area.

What is puzzling me is the leak appears to stop when the engine coolant gets to certain level within the reservoir. Is it maybe that I overfilled the reservoir and introduced too much pressure in the system? When I added coolant after the recent mods, I burped the system as usual, but the following morning I added more coolant at the reservoir (topped it off). Is this what created this problem?

The leak seems to stop once the coolant reaches this level. Any idea why?

Pressurize the system with the appropriate tester and find the leak

Thanks Zack. Was starting to feel lonely here.

Coolant was leaking from the cooling mod. Guess I did a poor job with the sealer. I pulled the fitting out, cleaned the sealer and reinstalled. Hopefully it's all good now.
