This evening on my way to work, I rolled the drivers window down, and now it won't go back up. The other windows work perfectly. Where do I start? Switches, wiring, motor and regulator?

Do the others work?

You can try fuse?

sounds like switch issue

You can unhook battery for 1 minute re-hook then try window.

The other windows work perfectly. I didn't know that the windows had anything to do with the LCM?

Bang against the inside of the door giving it a sharp rap with your hand. Try putting it up again.

Seriously.

It is likely the switch. Many posts on the fix. Either replace or repair.

What martyo said. Also try shutting the door kind of hard while pushing the up button for the window.

Lcm....[emoji13] you're silly.

Do you hear any noise when you push the window switch up or down ?

If so it might be the regulator that broke.

With the interior lights on try the window switch, if the lights dim there is power to the switch and either the motor is stuck or the regulator is toast. If the lights don't dim there is a problem with the switch.

If the motor is stuck, work the switch while banging on the middle of the inside door panel. That might free up the motor.

If the motor or regulator is bad I'd suggest replacing the entire assembly.

I go mine here:

I bought both front and rear sets.

I think I have a spare switch you can try. If all else fails remove the motor from the assembly and put it right back

I took the door panel off, reattached the switch, and it moved upwards miniscule amounts each time. The window is up and will be staying that way for the time being. It took 30+ presses of the button to get it all the closed.
