How do you unbolt the sway bar at the spindle. I put a wrench on it but seemed to turn endlessly
There is no place to put a small wrench at the end of the stud?
If not, get your whiz disc out and cut a groove for a flat head screwdriver.

There should be a hole in the end for an Allen key...I don't remember the size.

No it should be an inverted allen, aka a 6 point bolt head.

To unbolt the sway bar endlink from the front spindle there is a stud coming through the spindle that the nut is screwed on to, the stud has a hex head on it and needs to be held while loosening the nut. I think it is a 5mm maybe a 4 or a 6.
Or you could just use a big ol' impact wrench and gun it till the sucker comes off.

Thanks... Going at it again this weekend

You hold the stud with the wrench, and remove the nut.
If the stud turns inside the wrench, get a vice grip.

Quick hit with an impact sometimes does the trick as well
