Looks nice. How well does that fit in the car?

Neat but totally unnecessary. The stock pan with 7 quarts will provide oil until doomsday and take up much less real estate.

I honestly think that pan mod is going to hurt you more than help.

No you are wrong. Never in the modular world has there been a shortage of oiling with a stock pan.

Provide proof or accept I'm right

No bubs you are wrong! you stated the Moroso pan takes up more space! which it does not , i should know since i actually have the pan in my car as opposed to looking at pictures , now who's wrong?

Go get a tape measure. Saying the moroso Pan takes up less space is baffling (no pun intended) to me. It's many inches wider.

How the F can you argue this?

Its wider , but not nearly as deep as the oem pan , and not as tight to the Xmember! thats how , have you ever even seen this pan installed in person:confused:

Yes have you? I work on my cars, not write checks like you do.

Your argument is completely invalid to the point of me feeling sorry for you.

Sorry to argue, but you are plain incorrect on this one

Man you are clueless! I spin my own wrenches! thats why my thread was made to document my build! my car was 90% done when i took it to Marty to tie up the loose ends i didn't care to do with a floor jack!

You feeling sorry for me is a huge joke! I've been wrenching since i was 16 , a certified master mechanic capable of whatever i can imagine building! your arrogance supersedes you!

You arguing that this is less cumbersome than a stock pan is just humiliating me that I'm actually arguing with you.

I can agree may be a little overkill.
how can it hurt? the area inside the trap door baffles is about the same size as the stock pan? and the hinged trap doors only allow oil in not out.
and I cannot attest for a stock Marauder pan, but stock mod motor pans on fast mustangs have a hard time keeping oil around the pickup when you are Running around the "Carousel" @ Road America. ( I have seen oil pressure drop to 0)

now will my Marauder be doing any laps at RA, most likely it will stick to chauffeuring my buddies from the hotel to the pits, so why go with this pan & mod?

my stock pan was bent, I saw Motown's post that this pan fits, I wanted to protect my investment of a new forged motor, and lastly just because I could & it is cool

My only concern is the oil pump pick up tube hitting the baffle , thats what i meant by it hurting more than helping , but other than that i love it , and you will to once you install it , great choice bud!:bows:

here is what the pan is for, Teksid block, Forged crank, Manley rod & pistons, AEM cam-chain-guide pivot bolts, bronze valve guides & 3 angle valve job from Fox Lake.

I'm a fan of the Moroso pan, I can't see how a bit wider on the bottom is a hinderance to anything Zack? More surface area to hit road debris??

By adding the baffle in there will you potentially starve the pickup tube at high rpm. can't see the "one way" holes.

I put 6.5 quarts in the stock pan, How much oil have have you dumped in moroso Motown?

MCAT: Very nice engine! Are you also going with a canton windage tray/crank scraper?

7QTS plus the FL-1A filter so about 8QTS total

I do remember a test that was done on, modfords I believe, seeing how much oil the stock pans can hold and it was pretty amazing to say the least. A big plus for any pan if you're going to rev these motors high is to enlarge the oil drainback holes in the heads.
